A little about me

How I spend my free time

Exercising and being outdoors, including competing in triathlons, running road races, yoga, hiking, camping, and doing activities with my three boys. I also love to travel, relax at a spa, try new outdoor recreation, and attending various sporting events.

Passions of mine

I have always enjoyed being involved competitively and leisurely with sports. I was a collegiate softball pitcher for four years; and played strong side hitter collegiate volleyball for two years. While at Loras College, I achieved two-time All Region Awards as a fast pitch pitcher. I have also received numerous high school All-Conference Awards in volleyball, softball, and basketball. Presently, I still like to fulfill my competitive spirit, racing in triathlons and running various road races. Some of my favorite local road races include the Horsetooth Half Marathon and the CO Marathon. I plan to run in the Chicago Marathon in October 2024. I also mentor triathletes and am a USAT L1 and USAC L3 certified coach. Some of my most recent memorable accomplishments are finishing two full Ironman triathlons and placing 3rd in my Age Group at the Loveland Lake to Lake Olympic Triathlon (2019). As time permits, I like to get away and cycle in the mountains, run, practice yoga, and try new active endeavors. I truly enjoy my time “coaching” my three boys with their activities and learning alongside of them.
